Registration Fee

In order to be eligible for Fraternity Recruitment the student must pay the $30 Recruitment Fee at the end of the registration form. The individual chapters have varying dues and fees in accordance with their budgets that are established prior to the school year. Membership Fees & Dues

When you join a fraternity you will be responsible for that organizations fees & dues associated with it. Each organization has their own cost for New Member Fees, Member Dues, and Housing cost if they have a facility and should you choose to live there. We encourage Potential New Members (PNMs) to ask the question regarding finances to better understand their financial commitment.

Fraternity and Sorority Life Fee

Many of the resources provided to individual members of the fraternity and sorority life community are made possible through the FSL Fee. This fee is assessed similarly to other student fees, such as lab fees, through the student’s online tuition bill each semester. The FSL Fee, which shows up as “Greek Fee”, is first assessed the semester in which a student joins and continues each semester of their membership. All members who joined prior to Fall 2020 will continue to be assessed the current $12.23 per semester fee until they graduate or transfer from the institution.

With Board of Trustee approval on June 19, 2020, the FSL Fee will continue to be assessed to each member joining the fraternity and sorority community. The FSL Fee will be assessed to each individual member joining the Panhellenic Council and Interfraternity Council at the rate of $65 and will be assessed to each individual member joining the National Pan-Hellenic Council and United Greek Council will be $30. This will continue providing necessary resources for our fraternity and sorority community to be successful and integral parts of the University of Kentucky and greater Lexington community.
